Clickable Monetization Models
Many of you may have different monetization webpages, blog posts, Web 2.0 etc, but today I will be using the platform Hubpages (www.hubpages.com) as an example.
As you may already know Hubpages is a revenue AdSense sharing web 2.0 platform that works similar to blogging. This whole article was made just for Hubpages!
Today we are going to discuss AdSense because this is where most Hubbers make most of their residual income.
Getting the Click With Adsense!
AdSense when used correctly can bring quite good returns. But first we must direct the reader to our clinking point.
Keep AdSense ads above the fold. What is the fold? The fold is the first part of the the web-page that your readers view, once you scroll down you have gone below the fold! This is the best place to get the click.
TIP: Did you know that the advertisement at the very top pays the highest commissions? Yes it’s true!
So your plan in AdSense is to grab that click straight away. This is done by directing their eyes to the advertisements. How do we do that?
Well, you do this with catchy headings placed near the advertisement that compliments the advertisement. The next transition is by placing a nice appealing photo on the right side of your page, next to the advertisement.
Now I know that AdSense change these regularly. So you must choose your topic that has lot’s of adverting around it.
You can do this by doing a Google Search on your keywords. On the right and at the top you will see advertisers displaying their ads. The more the better, because when you have more advertisers you will have more targeted ads on your Hubpages, blog-post or website.
Also when you have more advertisers you have more competition for that keyword. This means a higher revenue for you per click!
Place Your AdSense Ads through your content.
The reason you do this is to Make More Money Per Click. Hubpages automatically does this for you, but if you have a Blog or website place your Google ads at the top, middle and bottom for optimum results.
'Final Clicking Tip"
Also, consider placing nice photos top , midway and bottom near where the advertisements are placed.
