Today we are going to discuss how to take advantage of different niches that have left major loopholes in their marketing, website and blogs.

This plan has been created for the sole purpose of finding gaps in the market using simple SEO strategies that are just downright simple to learn.

You know there are times when you are searching the web and you stumble across something and "BING" an idea comes into your head and your thinking "Hmmm" I would like to have a go at that.

I wonder if I can break the market.

Also I wonder how big the market is?

Well, today I am going to show you how to do just that!
I will show you how to find holes in the market that most don't even know where to start to look

Anyway first we need to look into is there a market there and is the Niche hungry? Will the market be steady for a long time and more.

I have provided a step by step plan below.

• 
  First you need to find a evergreen market. This type of market is here to stay and is not a fad. An example: gardening, jewellery, photography are all evergreen markets. Anyway, I think you get my drift!
• 
  Check in a keyword tool such as Google Keyword Tool and see if there are large numbers for search terms in that Niche such as Sale, for sale, sell, wholesale, buy, buying etc.
  If there is, then great. 
  Niche Markets Steps To Follow
• 
  Step 2 Collect a whole lot of phrases and write them down in notepad or on paper.
• 
  Step 3 Go to Google.com and do searches on the phrases and see what appears. Also, check the Niche Markets competition numbers below the search bar. It will look like this ABOUT 450,000 results (0.27 seconds)
  It’s generally best if there is below 100, 000 to compete easily here, if your keen to put in more hard work you can compete in higher numbers above the 100,000 mark.

  If I find a market that I think is red hot and has lots of advertisers and good products, I generally go for it.

  Once you have found that there is good traffic volume for the niche, it’s not over super competitive and looks like something you want to follow you need to go to the next step.
• 
  Look at the top 3 in Google for that Niche, because this is where you want to be eventually!
• 
  You need to see if the top websites have optimised their website or blog around the keywords.
  You can do this by looking in their source code.
• 
  How do you find their source code? Right click on the website and you will see in the list source code. Click on source code and look at the following.
• 
  Title: does it have the major keyword?
• 
  Description: Does it have the major keyword in the description?
• 
  If the answer is no, you are onto something here!
  Someone websites don’t even have a description. GOLD MINE!

Next you need to see if the major keyword or phrases you are chasing are already taken. Why? Because keywords in URL’S rank higher quickly.

If it’s already taken you may want to also see if this version exists.

Example: opalwholesale.com is taken, but it could become www.opal-wholesale.com by adding the dash in the centre between the two keywords.

"Now you have the major keywords in the URL".

How Many Links Do The Competitors Have?

Next you need to check how many links they have pointing at them. You can use Yahoo Site Explorer for this, or download the free tool Cherry Picker. Now these tools don’t provide exact numbers, but they are very close and provide back-link numbers.

If you find that these sites or site have low backlink numbers than you are in for action. It's now time for you to take action!
